An internal audit manager for more than 35 years with a major Quebec financial institution, François Hénault has an excellent command of the banking sector’s standards and practices in risk management, control and governance, including personal and commercial financing activities.

With a bachelor's degree in accounting, he completed his bachelor's degree in 1987 to begin his career with Desjardins Group. He has held several important positions, including Senior Director, Supervision, Banking Services and the Caisse network at the Desjardins Group Supervisory Office, one of Canada’s largest private internal audit offices.

Although François has always been known for his great rigor, he is recognized as a human and inspiring manager.
